The next five missions send Jaden to Nar Kreeta, Zonju V, Kril’Dor, Coruscant and Dosuun. The group learns that fellow padawan Rosh has gone missing, with no trace to be found. Applauded by both Luke and Kyle for his brave actions, he is promoted to apprentice. Jaden finds Tavion’s own apprentice, Alora, and duels her until she escapes. Jaden is next sent to Hoth, where Ben Kenobi gave Luke the vision from The Empire Strikes Back. Luke learns that the cult has been attempting to siphon Force energy from places rich in it. After this first set of missions Jaden is sent back to Yavin for his next assignment. Korr visits Tatooine where he meets Chewbacca and takes a trip to the Dune Sea, Bakura, Blenjeel and Corellia. After a bit of training Korr is sent to a number of planets to investigate the cult’s activities. Their goal was to resurrect the long-dead Sith Lord Marka Ragnos and vie for galactic domination, which the Jedi will discover later on.

The Imperials on Yavin were backed by an ancient cult: the Disciples of Ragnos. Rosh is also assigned to Katarn due to the shortage of qualified Jedi Masters. Korr meets the Jedi Master and is assigned to Kyle Katarn to train as his student. Jaden noticed the cult using an ancient scepter around the temple, most likely to drain Force energy. A group of Imperials attacked the Praxeum and stole Luke Skywalker’s private journal (and his love letters to Callista-just kidding). The shuttle ferrying them to Yavin is damaged and the two crash land on the planet below and have to trek to the Praxeum. Korr meets Rosh Penin on his journey, another young hopeful student (Rosh sucks hard, he’s a very whiny guy). Jaden Korr is a prospective Jedi student traveling to Yavin.

Star Wars fans will be happy that a game in the franchise is on the Switch but surely there better Star Wars game that could be brought to Switch. The graphics and gameplay are really showing their age. Overall, Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy is a game that only a hardcore Star Wars fan might enjoy. I do like that you have character creation options in both single player and multiplayer. And its much too easy to die in the multiplayer. The gameplay is just as stiff and awkward as the single player. The multiplayer meanwhile has multiple modes. If you’re a Star Wars fan, you may like it. The game’s single player storyline is sort of interesting. Jedi Academy does have single player and online multiplayer. Jedi Academy is by no means the worse game on the Nintendo Switch but its not a great one either. Even its gameplay is very stiff and awkward. I do realize that Jedi Academy is an older game but it just seems out of place on the Switch. The characters look alright but we’ve seen a ton better on Nintendo Switch.

The backgrounds in this game especially suffer muddy textures and bland scenery.
